Chocolate Patties

I am sure that when you think of Patties, you think of something savory right? Well as I mentioned in my previous post on Cherry Bon-Bons, I like to create cookie versions of popular dishes. I was raised in Birmingham England and one of our favorite snacks were Cornish Pasties. I was always intrigued by the unusual shell like shape of the pasties. I had this in mind when I decided to create the Sassy Chocolate Patties. I wanted to recreate that unusual shape I had loved so much as a kid.

The patties I created are filled with melted dark chocolate mixed and then dipped in melted dark chocolate frosting. I also chose to do them in a mini version just to be a little different and for you to enjoy eating a bite sized version instead of the usual giant size of traditional pasties.
